Pop-up Church Service
Sunday, April 30th will feature the return of the beloved Pop-Up Church Service at 22nd Street and Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a free, all ages event by and for the community. From noon to 8pm guests are invited to come celebrate and uplift one another with gospel choirs, dance ministry, plus local and national worship leaders sharing the gospel and prayer offerings. Discover a variety of vendors: BeachHouse757, Tropical TheLights, and Keep It Sweet.
Community Events
Community is at the center of change. The SITW Community Events will feature an array of local vendors, merchants, entrepreneurs, and entertainers representing the 757’s unique and vibrant culture. Join us Friday April 28th - Sunday April 30th across three parks and enjoy DJ’s, Food, Art, Goods, Entertainment, Interactive Experiences and more! These markets are open to the public, family friendly and will be programmed to serve all ages.

This event will feature custom skateboards created by ten local artists; live music/entertainment; a skate contest powered by Boardr with a $1,000 pro prize purse; food trucks; an open-air artist marketplace powered by Utopia Feni; and remarks on behalf of YELLOW and Coastal Edge. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a free raffle to win 1 of 10 custom skate decks.

Exhibitions from international artists, as well as VMOCA artists in residence, alongside (4) regional artists we selected to be featured throughout the museum. Live music will be provided by Fortresses,DJ JOFROXI and FAKE UZUMI, hosted by Q5. Additionally, the event will feature an Arts & Culture Panel Conversation, moderated by Stephanie Walters.

The cage bars have been broken, and the animals run unchained. Captivity no longer exists, and feral creatures prowl the streets. In a multi-medium arrangement, thirteen Virginia artists showcase their interpretation of ZOO.
