Overview & Criteria

New this year, SITW is creating an outreach program to drive festival attendees to local establishments in Virginia Beach.

The program involves participating retailers/businesses in Virginia Beach providing a special offer to festival attendees. To redeem the special offer, all festival attendees have to do is show their festival wristband or mobile application at the participating establishments.

The program will also receive promotional support from the festival. Each participating business will be provided with a branded decal/sign to put in their window to promote their participation to passersby and have limited rights to utilize promotional marks and logos on digital marketing

Ideal for: 

  • Restaurants

  • Bars & Entertainment Venues

  • Hotel, Motel & Lodging providers 

  • Gifts & Retail Goods

To be eligible for this program, businesses must:

  • Reside in Virginia Beach

  • Offer one of the following incentives: 25% off, 2 for 1, gift with purchase (must be approved), matching program (ie. 20% of sales of a specific item are donated to charity)

  • Display a branded sign in their window to identify participation in the program to festival goers.

Note: the approximate size of the sign may be as large as 2 feet by 3 feet.
